Project Brief: Sisodia Rani Garden and Palace is An 18th century historical palace garden and a protected Monument of Government of Rajasthan,located at 3 kilometres from Jaipur city, on Jaipur-Agra highway. It is a beautiful garden built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II for his wife Sisodia Rani comprising tiered multi-level Char Bagh with fountains, watercourses and painted pavilions. A double- storeyed palace occupies the top terrace of the garden. The palace has many galleries, pavilions and beautiful murals depicting scenes from the life of Lord Krishna. The Project covers restoring the historic garden, adaptive reuse of the Palace as a lifestyle gallery museum of Sisodia Rani and heritage infrastructure such as tourist facilities on site to make it viable as an eco friendly tourist destination while conforming to the norms required within the premises of Protected Forest Area.
