Has considerable experience in writing, editing and research on environmental, religion and gender issues. Has published two books, "Body and Mind" and "Women's Role in Society". And contributed numerous articles in professional journals, magazines and newspapers. Organised conferences and workshops in preparation and during the NGO Forum preceding the United Nations Women's Conference in 1985 at Nairobi, Kenya.

Career Background
Working with DRONAH, Gurgaon since 2005, continued as Correspondent of Hinduism Today, published from Hawaii, and Reporter for radio programme, Women International News Gathering Service, USA. In Kenya, Africa 1988 to 1999, became an independent Consultant, (Specialising in gender and environmental issue) and worked with Mazingira, KENGO, United Nations Environment Programme and World Bank at Policy level. PANOS, UK sponsored her as a Consultant to train the Students of Journalism at Sudan in Desktop Publishing in 1987. Researched 'Climate Change' and edited Ecoforum for Environment Liaison Centre International, ELCI, Nairobi for five years. Lecturer at Nairobi University, School of Journalism, 1981.
